Bowl - Etimoe Spirit Bowl

A friend named these small bowls, Spirit Offering Bowls, and the name fits perfectly. This Spirit Offering Bowl was created from kiln-dried Etimoe wood which is found in west and central Africa. The bowl is a nice size to hold jewelry, change, sage, or rose petals. It was turned with a small lip at the top of the bowl.  The bowl has been sanded to a smooth and silky finish and finished with a (satin) food safe quality product.
