Pen - Slim Spalted Maple Burl and Cocobolo

Handcrafted ballpoint pen with two varieties of wood. The top of the pen is turned with spalted Maple Burl which has a great deal of beautiful movement in the wood. The bottom of the pen is done in Cocobolo which is a reddish-orange color with darker grain colors as well. The two woods complement one another and stand out against the black chrome accents in the pen clip, center band, and tip. 

The pen was carefully crafted in our workshop and sealed with polish for a satin-gloss finish. The twist mechanism to extend and retract the ballpoint is smooth and easy. The pen is lightweight and has a thin profile. The pen uses a Cross-style ballpoint ink refill. NOTE: The pen tip has a slight crimp from assembly (this does not distract from the beautiful wood or pen).
