Special Order: Reading Under a Tree

Cut on a scroll saw, this freestanding display is made as two separate pieces. The girl and her book are crafted from light-colored maple, while the tree is made from striking zebrawood. The dramatic dark and light striping of the zebrawood creates a beautiful contrast against the maple and gives the tree wonderful natural character.

The whimsical design shows a girl comfortably seated against the tree, book in hand—a sweet representation of quiet moments, imagination, and a love of reading. Because the girl and tree are separate, they can be positioned together as shown or arranged slightly differently to suit your display.
