Spoon - Cherry Wood

Simple, warm, and unmistakably handmade, this Cherry wood spoon was created one step at a time using traditional hands-on woodworking techniques.

The spoon was individually cut, shaped and sanded by hand, and carefully hollowed to create its shallow bowl. The gently rounded edges of the handle make it comfortable to hold while preserving the straightforward, rustic character of the original design.

Unlike a factory-made wooden utensil, this spoon isn't perfectly symmetrical—and it isn't meant to be. Subtle variations in the shape, curves, sanding, and hollowed bowl reveal the hand of the maker and give the spoon its primitive, one-of-a-kind character.

Natural Cherry provides warm brown and reddish tones with understated grain that will continue to develop richer color and character as the wood ages.

Whether displayed alongside other handcrafted wooden pieces or put to use in the kitchen, this spoon offers something mass-produced utensils simply can't: the small variations and character of an object made individually by hand.
